Meet the team

Svetlana
Originally hailing from St Petersburg, Russia, with her family, Svetlana has been in the 3D game for 15 years. She has trained global teams and taught at universities, including FIT and Jefferson University, teaching Browzwear, Clo3D, and Gerber to the next generation in the industry. Before that, she worked with international companies including VF/Wrangler, Li & Fung, Amazon, Walmart, Ralph Lauren, Lululemon, Shoshanna, Isaac Mizrahi, Ann Taylor and many others.
But even before that, she found herself in a tiny bridal couture shop in Soho on Prince street, where she worked with Jane Wilson Marquis on delicate bridal and eveningwear collections. There, she hand drafted patterns for gorgeous custom gowns destined for use on a single day, even just a few hours.
Now, Svetlana dreams of custom fitting the masses. So here we are — in search of community and support to make that dream happen for everyone. Now, the question is, how can we build that dream in a sustainable and impactful way in the current market? That’s what we’re here to talk about.
Khanna
Khanna (HA-na) is a graphic + digital designer, and has worked in Manhattan's garment district for about ten years, while earning her BFA in Communications design at Pratt Institute. Working in apparel while developing visual communication skills instilled a deep curiosity for how things work, and the power of storytelling to share ideas. Working in the apparel industry, Khanna developed a keen awareness of the ability that clothing has to transform a person, or evoke a feeling. Brand design has the power to do the same, but on a bigger scale.

interest in the tech world and UX has also sparked an interest in how better and more efficient practices can be applied to advance the apparel industry. It's a complicated problem we are trying to untangle, so one day we can leave fashion better than we found it. Follow us on Medium to join the conversation on how we can work smarter, to move forward.
